Sending shockwaves throughout Raider Nation, we’re proud to recognize Emma Shockley as Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
In every aspect of school life, Emma achieves at a high level. Her drive and teamwork have earned her the role as principal saxophone and section leader of the Rouse High School Band. However, thanks to her talent and hard work, Emma made TMEA All-Region Band & All-Area Band. When Emma isn’t excelling as a musician, she shines academically in the top 10% of the Rouse HS junior class. Added bonus, Emma even played softball with the Rouse HS team this year!
“Emma is an exceptional student in every way; he always gives her best effort in all that she endeavors,” Rouse HS band director Ryan Johnstone said. “She has held leadership positions in the band program all throughout her high school career. She is well-respected by her peers and always leads by example. Way to go, Emma!”
