Terry Garity volunteers at Deer Creek Elementary. He goes above and beyond in offering teachers support.
Terry recently put his carpentry skills to use, giving his time and personal funds to build a special rotating shelf. The new shelf helps teachers organize a large collection of die-cut supplies and locate what they need easily, freeing up much-needed cabinet storage and counter-top workspace.
Because of his unwavering dedication in service to students, Leander ISD recognizes Terry Garity as Volunteer of the Week.
