It’s no secret that grandparents are special and have an important role to play in loving and nurturing a new generation. Jey and Gregory Stolt take it a step further by being actively involved in their grandson’s school, Reagan Elementary.

The Stolts pick up their grandson from school on a regular basis and take that opportunity to come in early to help with projects.

“The Stolts are grandparents extraordinaire. We appreciate all they do for Reagan teachers and children. We love having them as a part of our Reagan family,” said principal Steve Crawford.

They have cut miles of lamination, bound poetry books and die cut hundreds of letters for Quest. They do whatever is asked of them regardless of teacher or grade. Mrs. Stolt will even come in early in the morning to help school staff catch up when laminating gets really behind.

The Stolts volunteer with a glad heart and really brighten up the office with their presence. Because of their unwavering commitment in going the extra mile in service to students, Leander ISD recognizes Jey and Gregory Stolt as Volunteers of the Week.
