In Leander ISD, we believe students receive a quality education regardless of the campus they attend; however, we understand there are circumstances when families desire for their student to attend a school other than their zoned campus. The transfer window to accommodate such requests for the 2020–21 school is open through March 31.

New to the transfer application process for this year, families would only have to apply for the transfer once per campus. If the transfer is accepted, it will be automatically approved for a student in good standing while at that campus, mirroring the process already in place for high school students. If the previously approved student is changing campuses – from elementary to middle and middle to high school – they will need to apply and pay the application fee if their desired campus is different from their zoned campus.
