Four Points Middle School’s Hudson Haley is ready for his close-up as our Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
The seventh grade standout excels in multiple sports, running cross country and track, making plays in Falcon football and giving his all on the basketball court. Hudson’s passion for competition is evident outside of sports as well. His 30-sec environmental awareness campaign made it to the final round of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s “Take Care of Texas” video contest.
“Hudson is the true definition of a student- athlete,” FPMS Boys Athletic Coordinator Glen Bridgewaters said. “He not only competes in every sport available, but is also very involved on campus, all while excelling in the classroom.”
Hudson makes time to serve as a FPMS student council member and volunteer with Falcon Force, a student-led technology help desk program that taps students as “first responders” for tech support.
“Mostly I tell the students (Falcon Force) is about customer service; we can teach them the tech skills,” FPMS campus tech Susan Mannas said. “Hudson is great at customer service!”
Congratulations to Hudson Haley, Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week!
