Second grader Percy Fellin at Cypress Elementary School is the Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week.
Every single day at the end of recess, Percy makes sure that all of the second grade balls have been picked up and put in the ball bag. He also grabs any jackets or water bottles that he sees outside and brings them inside to the lost and found. He does this because he wants to make sure that the second graders have balls to play with at recess. He also wants to make sure that students are able to find their lost items quickly by going to the lost and found.
According to Percy’s teacher, Kristiana Pagani, he is one of the most responsible and respectful students that she knows.
“Percy is one of the most selfless and caring second graders that I have ever met. He is constantly following classroom and school expectations,” Pagani said. “His positive attitude rubs off on everyone around him. He is a natural born leader who is going to do amazing things in the future!”
Percy plays baseball, basketball and football, and is a huge Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
