Vista Ridge High School senior Aidan Cruz always works to be the best he can be in every area of life – but that doesn’t stop him from bringing others along with him.
Aidan, a player on the VRHS Ranger football team, has been chosen as the LISD Student-Athlete of the Week as a result of both his stellar athletic performance and successes off the field. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, he ranks in the top 10% of his class and holds a 4.0 GPA.
“Aidan exemplifies what it means to be a servant leader, team player and a Ranger,” said Chad Scott, VRHS’s head football coach. “He works diligently to help others, while also pushing himself to be the best he can be.”
Alongside his rigorous athletic and academic schedule, Aidan is also a member of several clubs, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Be Real and the Bass Fishing Club.
