Leander ISD is proud to name Rouse High School’s Emily Forster as the Student-Athlete of the Week.
Emily is a senior member of the Rouse Raider cross country and track & field teams. She placed first at the 9th Annual Pflugerville Cross Country Invite this year and continues to have impressive finishes at all of her other races.
In addition to participating in athletics, Emily is active in the Rouse community as the senior class Vice President of Student Council, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society President, Raiders Joined for Hope and the Spanish Honors Society.
“Emily has been a strong leader on our Rouse cross country and track teams for the last four years,” RHS Cross Country Coach Kelly Thompson said. “She is a prime example of the model student-athlete”.
Congratulations to Emily Forster, the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
