Leander ISD is proud to announce Leander High School’s Emma Stauber as the LISD Student-Athlete of the Week. Emma is a senior on the Lady Lion Varsity Volleyball team.
As a team captain, Emma leads her team as a top contributor on and off the court. In addition to being a top student, Emma is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish National Honor Society, and an International Baccalaureate Ambassador. In her spare time, she volunteers with multiple programs at her local church.
“Emma always gives 100% on the court and puts her teammates first at all times,” LHS Head Volleyball coach Ashley Atkinson said. “She has a huge heart for her team and for the sport of volleyball. She is a wonderful leader, athlete and human.”
