Leander ISD is proud to announce Four Points Middle School’s Emmie Gardner as the LISD Student-Athlete of the Week. Emmie is a seventh-grade standout on the Four Points Cross Country team who amazingly improved her personal best time over the course of the season by three minutes!
Emmie also just made the Lady Falcon basketball team and plans on running track in the spring. Emmie is a straight-A student, is in PACE math and Pre-AP Language Arts classes and still finds time to be a member of the FPMS Student Council. Her teachers love the energy she brings to the classroom.
“Emmie works hard every day at practice and always has a positive attitude,” coach Kyleigh O’Daniel said. “She is encouraging, a hard-worker and respects her teammates and coaches. Emmie is a wonderful student-athlete who takes academics very seriously. Her hard work pays off both in the classroom and in athletics.”
