Leander ISD is proud to announce Rouse High School senior Julia Loza as the LISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Julia is a captain for the Lady Raider Varsity Soccer Team and has been awarded Academic All-District the last three years. Last year, she was named second team All-District, as well as Academic All-State.
Outside of soccer, Julia is the Vice President of the National Honor Society, an active member of C2, Community Service Chairman of Spanish Honors Society and a part of the Raiders for Hope Organization.
“When faced with a challenge, Julia doesn’t give up,” said Rouse Head Girls Soccer Coach Katie Kistner. “Instead, she finds a way to overcome it. She strives to perform at her best and is eager to learn and improve her skills and knowledge. She leads the team and asks her teammates to rise with her”.
