Seventh Grader Liza Fletcher from Stiles Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Liza is a member of the Spartan cross country, volleyball and basketball teams. She is also planning on running track and playing soccer in the spring.
“Liza is the type of athlete who leads by action, demonstrates servant leadership and is a silent giant among her peers when it comes to her work ethic and desire to be the best teammate she can be,” Coach Sara Hutson said.
Liza is also involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
