Leander ISD is proud to announce Vandegrift High School senior Justin Moore LISD Student-Athlete of the Week. Justin is a senior member of the Vandegrift Viper baseball, football and basketball teams.
In basketball, he was awarded 25-6A 2nd Team All-District, Academic All-District, Academic All-State, and was named to the Academic All-State Elite Team. In football, Justin was named 2nd Team All-District Quarterback. The Vandegrift Viper Baseball Team is headed to the playoffs, and Justin was the winning pitcher in a 5-2 win over nationally-ranked Lake Travis High School.
“Justin’s leadership shows among his peers, as he was selected as Team Captain of the baseball team and was the ‘2nd to None Recipient’ in basketball,” Vandegrift Head Baseball coach Allen McGee said. “Justin just comes to work every day and gets better. He does his job and leads the team each and every day”.
