Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week Meagan Lee is swinging for the fences!

Meagan attends Leander High School where she is a senior member of the Lion softball team. For the past four years, she has started on the varsity team as an outfielder. On offense, Meagan has been the leadoff batter for three years. Meagan earned recognition, awarded first team all-district in 2021, second-team all-district in 2019. Furthermore, she received Academic All-District in 2019-2021, Team Defensive Player of the Year in 2019 and Most Valuable Player in 2021. Academically, Meagan became a member of the National Honor Society and takes college courses at ACC.

“Meagan is one of the hardest workers in our program,” Leander HS Head Softball Coach Kendall Driver said. “Naturally gifted as a softball player, she works extremely hard to improve her craft. She has led us in almost every offensive category during her time at Leander HS. Even more than her softball contributions, Meagan is an outstanding human being who has been a great leader for our program. I cannot wait to see the success Meagan has at A&M-Kingsville, where she will play softball next year.”

Leaving it all on the field, Congratulations to Meagan Lee–Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week!
