Our Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week Hailey Arrington helped trail blaze as one of Glenn High Schoolโs โO.G.โ (original Grizzlies)!
A senior captain on the Grizzly softball team, Hailey also serves as a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Academic All-District softball team.
โHailey is a leader on the field and in the classroom. She is the type of athlete who will work hard no matter who is watching,โ Glenn High School head softball coach Marissa Guzman said. โDuring our time away from school, she has been one of the most consistent athletes, doing her optional workouts and is always encouraging her teammates!โ
During her senior campaign, she has compiled a .333 batting average, thrown a no-hitter in tournament play, and has recently signed her letter of intent to play at St. Thomas University in the fall.
Coach Guzman said coaches enjoy working with student-athletes like Hailey. She will continue to leave a mark on the school, program, and community.
