Fifth Grader Nolan Copeland from Block House Creek Elementary is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.

Nolan is a hard-working student who is heavily involved in Performing Arts. As an 11-year-old student, he was responsible for memorizing lots of lines and singing solos. He demonstrated strong leadership skills for the rest of the cast. He is looking forward to participating in middle school band, theatre and choir.

“Nolan is a great example of what the ethical principles look like in action,” Performing Arts Teacher Mary Ann Loesch said. “He worked independently on learning his lines and his solos and was an inspiration to the other cast members.”

Nolan is a member of C2, participates in Flag Football after school, is a Quest student and was recently Marlin in BHC’s production of Finding Nemo.
