We’re howling at the moon for our LISD Super Kid Josiah Schulz!
Josiah attends first grade at Winkley Elementary. Throughout the school year, Josiah has shown a deep dedication to his work and those around him.
“Josiah loves to learn and will often extend his learning by choosing to do more on his own,” Winkley Elementary first grade teacher Peggy Hefner said. “He does his work carefully to show he is doing his best!”
Beyond his classwork, Josiah’s kindness and respect for others make the school shine.
“Every time I see Josiah, my day gets brighter,” Winkley Elementary principal Davina Stringer, Ed.D. said. “He has this same effect on his teacher, classmates and other staff too! He smiles, says hello, is respectful, and genuinely asks how we are doing.”
A kid at heart who loves to play video games and go on family walks, Josiah shows how small gestures can create big smiles.
