Leander ISD is proud to honor its more than 100 school counseling staff members throughout the district during National School Counseling Week, Feb. 3–7, 2020.
As valued members of our schools, counselors help students find their passion and purpose. They work with teachers and staff to help meet a child’s needs, often bridging school and home. In providing a safe and trusted environment, LISD’s school counselors and social workers help nurture a student’s positive attitude about themselves, their education and their future.
The LISD Counseling Services staff includes:
- 11 social workers and licensed professional counselors
- 31 elementary school counselors
- 24 middle school counselors
- 39 high school counselors
We applaud the efforts of these remarkable LISD staff members who help students reach new heights in their academic, social and emotional journey.
