Congratulations to the Vandegrift HS football team for capturing their school’s first UIL State Championship. The Vipers held off Southlake Carroll HS 24-17 Saturday during the 6A Division 2 finals at AT&T Stadium.
Special shoutout to Miles Teodecki for capturing the the Offensive MVP honors with 2 passing TDs and nearly 250 passing yards and Scott Buchanan for being named the Defensive MVP with 7 tackles, 2 pass breakups and 1 fumble recovery.
