According to her teachers, Fine Arts Student of the Week Thienn Peterson embodies the saying, “Act well your part, there all the honor lies.”
Thienn is an eighth grader at Running Brushy Middle School who participates in theater and advanced theater, consistently giving her all as a team member and supporting her company both on and off stage. She has served in various theater roles, from props crew to the lead role in an upcoming one-act play.
“Thienn really embodies the company attitude we strive for at Running Brushy,” Theater Director Maggie Strain said. “She always does her part well, helps others and works hard. She’s extremely talented at what she does and is always kind to others.”
In addition to her theater participation, Thienn is a Quest student and a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
