Senior Alex Schiller at Leander High School is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Alex is the captain of the Blue Belles dance team. She is an exceptional leader that guides and motivates the students on the dance team with unwavering dedication. She is also a supportive team player that not only focuses on her own growth but also takes the time to support and uplift her teammates. She creates a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere with every member of the team.
Blue Belles Dance Directors Ashley Williams and Lupe Garcia said that Alex is an exceptional student who has consistently demonstrates dedication, leadership and creativity within the Blue Belles dance program.
“Alex has an outstanding commitment to her team, is a positive and inspiring role model for her peers, and a true servant leader both in the dance studio and out,” Williams and Garcia said. “She is a dedicated, supportive, and ever-improving team player, and her impact on our dance program is truly exceptional.”
Alex not only shines on the dance team, but also in her academic classes. She is a member of the National Honor Society.
