He’s got the Golden Ticket! Congratulations to Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Caeden Campbell for making the sweet sounds of success.

The fifth-grader sings his heart out as a leader in Cox Elementary’s Comet Choir. A regular at every extra morning practice, he stands out with several solos throughout the year.

Caeden is playing Charlie in Cox’s spring performance of “Willy Wonka Kids,” featured as a lead in last year’s production as well. Even though school buildings have closed, he attends all of the virtual rehearsals and continues to work hard, even though the cast isn’t exactly sure how, when, or if the show will go on.

“Caeden fills any room he enters with positive energy and joy,” Cox Elementary performing arts teacher Tracie Knodel said. “He is a true leader that works hard to make the group better. I have really enjoyed working with him this year!”

As an academic leader, Caeden won the school spelling bee in January. He also serves on the No Place for Hate team.

What a scrumdidilyumptious character; we’re so proud to celebrate LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Caeden Campbell!
