Three’s a charm for Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Lucy Walter!

The Cedar Park High School senior has done a fantastic job of balancing three esteemed fine arts programs: Varsity Treble Choir, the Celebrities Varsity Dance team, and Theatre. Incredibly active in the life of CPHS, Lucy powers through her studies, maintaining a 3.8 GPA. She participates in three honor societies, including the National English Honor Society and National Honor Society.

Starred in numerous productions, Lucy played the namesake in “Carrie” and Bea Bottom in “Something Rotten” to name a couple from this year alone. The type of person to show up early and stay late, she provides a helping hand to her peers wherever she can. Throughout Lucy’s high school career, she has served as Choir president 2021-2022, Choir social officer 2020-2021 and Improv Troupe social officer 2019-2020.

“Lucy is a triple-threat in the performance world, dance, theatre, and choir!” Cedar Park High School Assistant Choir Director Victor Torres said. “She is pursuing a career in musical theater, and I can’t wait to cheer her on from the front row!”

We’re on our feet with praise for Lucy Walter–#1LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
