Leander ISD is proud to honor Glenn High School junior Kaylee Todd as the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.

Kaylee is a visible, contributing member of the Glenn Theatre Department and an officer for the Thespian Honor Society, a position she has held the past two years.  She has been involved in every production Glenn has produced since it opened in 2016.

Kaylee has served as lighting designer/operator, sound designer/operator, and most frequently stage manager for Glenn’s many productions, including the recent Beauty and the Beast.

She was a member of the State-qualifying One Act Play in 2017 and the Region-qualifying OAP in 2018.  Kaylee received outstanding technician at various levels each year.  She is currently serving as Stage Manager for this year’s OAP which competes in March.

When Kaylee is not hard at work on a Glenn production she can be seen honing her technical skills at Sam Bass Community Theatre or at theatre camps.  She plans to pursue technical theatre at Texas State when she graduates in 2020.

“Kaylee is a driving force in our program,” Glenn Theatre Director Melody Morton said. “Her dedication to her craft has been a shining example to other technical theatre students.”

Congratulations to Kaylee Todd, the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
