Good evening, #1LISD.

First and most importantly, I want to express my gratitude for the hard work and investment you have made in each and every student. I see your tireless effort and your passion to meet students where they are at. Thank you!

As I think about where we are and where we are headed, two things stick out in my mind: how much our community values voice and choice, and civic duty. Nothing honors them both like casting a ballot. We have ONE WEEK until Election Day. Voting early offers you a chance to conveniently visit any polling location in your county. Any last-minute obstacle won’t stand in your way.

The school district has two propositions on the ballot that impact our finances: Proposition A (Attendance Credit Election) & Proposition B (Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election). I urge you to learn more about them at www.leanderisd.org/elections. Polling locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Friday, Nov. 4, and then open again on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Remember, every election is determined by the people who show up. Every vote counts, Leander ISD. Make your voice matter!
