Vista Ridge High School senior Rylee Sassenberg is the Leander ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week.

Rylee is a member of the equine science CTE program, and is serving for the third year as Chapter President. She has competed on many teams for Future Farmers of America (FFA) and serves as the Area 12 FFA Treasurer.

Leah King, Agricultural Science Teacher at VRHS, said that Rylee is an example of everything that a dedicated and involved FFA member embodies.

“Rylee is always the first to volunteer and does everything with grace and ease. She never complains and always puts her all in everything she does,” King said. “I have caught her at the barn helping out many of our new and senior members. She has a genuine nature and is an absolute joy to be around.”
