Leander ISD would like to congratulate Glenn High School automotive technology student Javier Pena for being named the LISD Career and Technical (CTE) Student of the Week.
The GHS senior is an active member of the school’s Skills USA/RAMS club, serving as president. He is devoted to fostering an active club, holding weekly meetings to prepare students for competition. Even more impressive, Javier is a sub campus student, driving from Glenn to Rouse for meetings and class. He is also a dedicated GHS band member.
“Javier is an amazing student, driven by his desire to learn and help others,” instructor Jason Glass said. “He is always willing to stay late to finish projects and he exudes leadership qualities.”
