Off the charts! Leander ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week Hailey Bowerman’s spirit gives a good shock to the system!
Hailey goes to Cedar Park High School. As a junior, she joined CPHS’ chapter of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). During her time, Hailey has helped write and create video recordings of the HOSA Health Minute. The segment appears in CPHS’ broadcast journalism production the Wolfcast. Furthering her knowledge and skills, Hailey is competing in Area 1 HOSA Spring Leadership. Recently, she helped earn the biomedical debate team sixth place.
Driven by care and humility, Hailey became a penpal to residents of New Hope Manor. She sent holiday cards as well. Always positive, she makes wonderful suggestions about other community service activities HOSA can participate in virtually.
“Hailey is positive and enjoys learning about the healthcare field,” CPHS Health Science Technology instructor Tami Beall said. “Her energy motivates classmates and HOSA members alike.”
Mending hearts with her own, let’s celebrate LISD CTE Student of the Week Hailey Bowerman!
