The community is invited to attend the upcoming “Coffee with the Board” events, hosted by the Leander ISD Board of Trustees.
The “Coffee with the Board” events are scheduled for:
- Saturday, Feb. 16, 9 a.m. at Grandview Hills Elementary School, Library
- Saturday, March 9, 9 a.m. at Block House Creek Elementary School, Library
“Coffee with the Board” is an informal opportunity for parents and community members to sit and discuss school-related issues with their elected school board officials.

![In the Automotive Program of Study at Rouse High School, students study automotive basics and automotive technology, and eventually complete a practicum in transportation systems.
“If I didn’t have this program, I wouldn’t feel really prepared for my future plans – I want to be a BWM technician,” Glenn High School student Javier Peña said. “And the fact that there’s a program out there in this district that [prepares students] is just amazing.”
