At the UIL State 5A Marching Band Championships held Nov. 6-7 at the Alamodome, the Cedar Park High School Marching Band was named State Champion for the fifth-consecutive 5A competition year. The Rouse High School Band claimed the title of State Runner-Up, while the Leander High School band landed an impressive fifth-place finish.

All three bands gave beautiful performances, bringing the spectators filling the stadium to their feet after each performance. The Timberwold Band’s “Belle Mécanique, Rouse High School Band’s “Requiem” and Leander High School Band’s “Ripple” all showcased the musical talent, drive and dedication of each individual student, as well as the friendship, care and bond between bandmates.
