Information about the the 2026–27 student transfer process, including timelines, eligibility details and application guidance for both in-district and out-of-district families is now available on the Student Transfer webpage.
The priority transfer window for currently enrolled Kindergarten through 11th grade students opens in January 2026. This earlier timeline allows the district to review transfer requests before campus staffing allocations are finalized, helping reduce unnecessary denials at schools with available space and providing families earlier clarity as they plan for the upcoming school year.
Families who wish for their student to attend a school other than their zoned campus are encouraged to review the full details now, including:
- Priority and open transfer window dates
- Which students need to apply and which do not
- Campuses currently open to transfers
