🎬 6.A.2. Discussion of LISD Strategic Plan

The LISD 5-year strategic plan was adopted in February 2022. As Year 2 of work related to the strategic plan finishes up, LISD administration has been engaged in a process to further clarify the evidence that will be used to measure goal attainment by May 2027, or what does “Paint Done” look like? 

During Thursday’s meeting, administration shared additional information about the process and solicited input from the Board in order to solidify the evidence.

Bond 2023: Project Funds Released For Grandview Hills Ancillary Building Projects

🎬 4.A. Consider Approval of Guaranteed Maximum Price #1 for Grandview Hills Ancillary Building Projects

The May 2023 bond included funds for new buildings for ancillary building projects located next to Grandview Hills Elementary School – including the Information Technology Broadband Network Node, South Transportation Terminal, and the Plant Services Ancillary Renovation – with PBK Architects approved to design them and Bartlett Cocke General Contractors to build them.

As part of the consent agenda item, Trustees approved the first Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract for these new buildings, allowing for the release of Bond funds already allocated for this project as part of the May 2023 bond.

This GMP will go toward equipment, services or materials that must be secured well in advance and early project startup needs. Construction is projected to start later in early 2025.
