At Bagdad Elementary, the fifth-grader consistently strives to give his best effort in all subject areas. He loves learning about new cultures like the Philippines and Belize. During his travels to different national parks, the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion and Yellowstone, he shares interesting facts and stories.
“A leader amongst his peers, Matthew guides and encourages in every way possible,” Bagdad Elementary fifth-grade teacher Deanna McCool said.
A defender and protector, Matthew has a black belt in taekwondo despite starting when he was only 4 years old!
