Vista Ridge High School Assistant Principal Wendell Mills has been named the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Region 13 High School Assistant Principal of the Year.
“Wendell Mills is a true difference maker. He is an outstanding role model who passionately serves and connects with all Vista Ridge stakeholders,” Vista Ridge Principal Paul Johnson said. “We are grateful he came to the Ridge and we congratulate him on being named Region 13 Assistant Principal of the Year!”
Mills has served at Vista Ridge High School in various roles since 2015, and has over 25 years of experience in education. As the Region 13 winner, Wendell Mills is eligible to compete for the state title of Texas Assistant Principal of the Year.
TASSP recognizes outstanding principals and assistant principals from the twenty regional Education Service Centers in the state. School administrators are nominated and chosen by peers within their regions. Nominations are based upon exemplary performance and outstanding leadership.
