The 2016 Vista Ridge yearbook, The Lonestar, was named a Crown Award finalist by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
Only 68 yearbook publications, from national and international entries, were chosen as finalists to be awarded in March 2017 at Columbia University in New York City. During Crown considerations, a panel rigorously judged 1,190 publications on excellence in design, photography, concept, coverage and writing.
