The Vandegrift Vipers Cheer Team continued Leander ISD high school’s run of excellence at the UIL state meet by winning 3rd place in Class 6A on Jan. 16 in Ft. Worth. The Vipers podium finish features multiple standout performances, including:
- 1st in Crowd Leading,
- 2nd in Fight Song,
- 5th in Band Chant
Vandegrift’s success comes on the heels of Cedar Park Cheer winning back-to-back Class 5A State titles, the most recent coming in January of last year.
