LEEF Grant Helps Improve Training For New Bus Drivers
Last year, LEEF awarded the Leander ISD Transportation department with a $5,000 grant to improve the current training program for new bus drivers. Bus Operator Scott Colvin used the grant money to purchase better tools for creating training videos and podcasts.

In an effort to enhance security, safety of our students and staff and to improve the efficiency of our routes, for the 2024–2025 school year, all eligible bus riders – new and returning – will be required to register for transportation if they wish to utilize transportation to and/or from school.
