A dual threat on the field and in the classroom, Vista Ridge High School senior Kyle Brown is showing he has what it takes as Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week!

Captain of the Ranger varsity football team, Kyle serves on the team’s Leadership Council. During the spring, Kyle plays baseball for the Rangers. As an A/B Honor Roll student, he has been Academic All-District for two years in both football and baseball.

“Kyle is a tremendous competitor in football and baseball,” VRHS head football coach Rodney Vincent said. “In addition to being a multi-sport athlete, he has represented our program so well in the classroom.  I am just as proud of the way he has developed and worked at being a leader on the field as he has off the field.”

Last football season, Kyle received numerous accolades including being selected as First Team All-State Quarterback by APSE (Associated Press Sports Editors), Central Texas Player of the Year by iHSFan, and First Team All-District Quarterback for District 13-6A.  Kyle was also selected as an All-District Pitcher in Baseball in 2019.

Let’s pump it up for Kyle Brown–LISD Student-Athlete of the Week, Congratulations!
