Just try to keep up with Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week Emma Belliveau!

An all-around athlete, the Danielson Middle School eighth-grader represents the Bearkats. She competes on the cross country, basketball, track & field, and soccer teams. Following up her seventh- grade-accomplishment as district cross country meet champion, Emma took first place in her first four meets this year! Currently, her plans include serving as a leader in basketball and soccer. Emma intends to compete in the long jump and high jump again this year in track & field.

This Bearkat doesn’t just push herself in Athletics. In the classroom, Emma takes advanced Algebra and Language Arts classes. In Fine Arts, she plays the flute in the DMS band. Not to mention, outside of school, Emma plays club soccer.

“Emma represents the true meaning of a Bearkat student-athlete because she excels in athletics and in the classroom,” Danielson MS Girls Athletic Coordinator Michelle Chism said. “Not only athletic, self-driven, and coachable, she serves as a great role model who has a positive attitude and displays leadership throughout our campus at Danielson MS!”

One of a kind, Congratulations,  Emma Belliveau–#1LISD Student-Athlete of the Week!
