A winning combination of humility and achievement makes Joy Udoye Leander ISD’s Student-Athlete of the Week!

The Cedar Park Middle School eighth-grader plays on the Leopard volleyball and track teams. Even while playing sports, Joy maintains excellent grades. As an honor roll student, she has earned membership to the National Junior Honor Society. Forward-thinking, Joy is taking AVID to prepare her for college.

“Joy dominates on and off the court,” CPMS Girls Athletic Coordinator Robin Carson said. “Humble and kind, yet competitive and driven. She plays middle blocker like a boss, not letting anyone stand in her way.  She continues to improve and shows strength at the service line–a fierce attacker. A hard-working young lady with tremendous talent, I look forward to following her throughout her career.”

Rest assured, Joy will go places!

”Joy competes in every sport with passion and dedication,” CPMS volleyball and track coach Robin Keller said.

How can you not #ChooseJoy!? High-fives for #1LISD Student-Athlete of the Week Joy Udoye!
