Student Support Team Teacher Annie Nguyen at North Elementary School is the Leander ISD Staff Spotlight of the Week.
A new North Elementary parent said that Nguyen welcomed her and her daughter to the school with a tour of the classroom. The parent was taken back by the amazing environment created for neurodiverse kids such as her own. Nguyen got on her daughter’s level, asking her questions and welcoming her like family.
“So far, we are overjoyed with [our daughter’s] experience, especially because of educators like Annie Nguyen. Annie is welcoming, communicative and child focused,” the parent shared. “You can tell that Annie is authentic in her interactions and transparent about both challenges and successes regarding our kiddo and their developmental variances. I couldn’t be more grateful for Annie’s presence in my child’s life.”
