Leander ISD’s newest school, Glenn High School, will have a dedication ceremony Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, beginning at 10 a.m. The ceremony will take place in the GHS competition gym. GHS is located at 1320 Collaborative Way, Leander, TX 78641.

The school is named after Tom Glenn, who retired in January of 2008 after serving as superintendent of LISD for 20 years. During his tenure, Glenn led the district on a path of excellence that helped drive its explosive growth. When Glenn began as superintendent, there were 4,600 students in LISD. The district reported more than 24,200 students just before his retirement. Glenn’s leadership led to the establishment of LISD’s culture of continuous improvement and Guiding Documents, philosophies that continue to shape the district today.
