Leander ISD has revised the food service schedule for Tuesday, March 24:
Please be aware that on Tuesday only:
- From 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m., we will be offering breakfast.
- From 11:30 a.m – 1:30 p.m., lunch and the following morning’s breakfast will be available.
Starting Wednesday, March 25, Leander ISD will offer hot meals once a day. Students may pick up a hot lunch and a breakfast meal for the next morning from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. through curbside or drive-thru pick-up service at these locations:
- Bagdad Elementary School,
- Reed Elementary School,
- River Place Elementary School, and
- Running Brushy Middle School.
Please use the following routes to safely enter and exit the campuses:
Bagdad Elementary
From County Road 270, head east on Waterfall Ave. Turn left after Bagdad’s main circle drive on Deercreek Lane. Meal delivery will take place on the side of the campus.
Reed Elementary
Using the bus entrance, enter the campus from Little Elm Trail. Food service delivery will take place in the back of the school past the playground.
River Place Elementary
Enter the campus from River Place Blvd. Drive through the west parking lot. Food service delivery will take place on the side of the building. Exit the campus using Sitio Del Rio Blvd.
Running Brushy Middle School
Enter the south side of the campus from Cougar Country. Food delivery service will take place outside of the cafeteria entrance.
Students will not need to prove enrollment in order to receive meals. Texas Department of Agriculture guidelines do require a student to be present to pick-up food. We are asking families to use the Nutrislice web or mobile application (Apple, Google), when possible, to help us efficiently provide for those in need.
We are working with our amazing community partners who help supply families with food backpacks on weekends to support their efforts. We will have more details on those options in an update later this week.
