This month we’re celebrating School Board Recognition Month. The care and dedication our elected officials put into their role amount to countless hours and tremendous talent.
In Place 2, Gloria Gonzales-Dholakia, Ph.D., serves with confidence and character. Serving the Board since 2018, her dedication to public education started long before as a volunteer, non-profit executive and a mother of three. Thanks to her drive and determination, the Board’s current Vice President has helped generate community support for public schools and contributed to the implementation of a district equity policy. A sucker for gears and gadgets, Gloria seeks ways for students to transform STEM skills into pathways to success.
Thank you Dr. Gloria Gonzales-Dholakia, LISD Board Vice President, for your ferocious energy and your vision to help cultivate future leaders.
