The Off-Campus Physical Education (OCPE) guidelines have been updated for the 2024–25 school year. These updates have been made in order to align Leander ISD with other districts in our area and around the state.
It is important that any student interested in applying for OCPE for the 2024–25 school year look over these guidelines and become familiar with the changes.
OCPE Update for 2024–25
Activities available through the Off-Campus PE program are limited to activities that are not offered comprehensively through the physical education or athletic department of Leander ISD. The following are qualified activities for Off Campus PE:
- Beach Volleyball
- Cheer (6th only)
- Golf (Grade 6–8 only)
- Figure Skating, Ice Hockey
- Lacrosse (Category 2 only)
- Martial Arts
- Mountain Biking
- Soccer (Grade 6–8 only)
- Swim (Grade 6–8 only)
- Table Tennis, Tennis (Grade 6–8 only)
- Water Polo
- Wrestling (Grade 6–8 only)
In an effort to work with current 6th and 7th grade (Class of 2029 and 2030) students who already participate in those activities to earn Off Campus P.E. credit, LISD will allow these students to continue to utilize those activities.
The updated guidelines are also available on the OCPE website.
