The application deadline for 8th-graders to apply for Early College High School has been extended to March 19.
Leander ISD has partnered with Austin Community College to create LISD’s Early College High School (ECHS). LISD ECHS combines high expectations, academic rigor through inquiry-based instruction, and individualized student supports to prepare our scholars for academic success.
The ECHS initiative is an open-enrollment program that blends college and high school coursework, enabling students to earn up to two years of college credit (60 hours) for FREE while enrolled in high school. Graduates earn their high school diploma, distinguished with honors, from Leander ISD and an Associate of Arts in General Studies tuition-free from ACC.
