The Leander ISD School & Community Relations (SCR) department earned several honors – highlighted by a Crystal Commendation for Photo Portfolio – for its outstanding work at the 2024 Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) Conference.
The team also received a Crystal Certification of Merit in the School/Community Partnership category for its Leadership LISD program. The brochure used at the 2023 State of the District received “best of category” distinction in the Brochure category.
In addition, SCR collected 16 gold medals, 10 silvers and a bronze.
TSPRA’s annual Star Awards provide recognition for the outstanding education communications and projects its members. Independent, impartial judges evaluate each work and project based on set criteria and they award Gold, Silver and Bronze Star Awards, as well as Best of Category, Crystal and Platinum Certificates of Merit, Crystal Commendations and the Platinum Award for an all-encompassing, year-long communications project.
This year’s conference recognized work completed between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023.
