Two Leander ISD student-athletes raced their way to the podium at the 2024 UIL Track and Field 5A and 6A state meets!

At Friday’s 5A meet, Cedar Park High School Senior Isabel Conde De Frankenberg took first place in the girls 800m race and picked up a silver medal later in the day in the girls 1600m race. On Saturday, Vista Ridge High School Junior Emma Wade raced her way to a silver medal, finishing second in the 6A girls 1600m race.
