Several Leander ISD student-athletes are heading to the state UIL Track & Field meet after qualifying performances at the regional level. The state meet will take place May 11-12 at Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas at Austin.
State qualifiers are as follows:
6A Level
Leander High School
- Gavin Davis in the Boys 400 M
- Elizabeth Roca in the Girls 400 M
Vandegrift High School
- Jordan Mathis in the Girls 1600 M & 3200 M
5A Level
Cedar Park High School
- Kaitlyn Childress in the Girls 1600 & 3200 M
4A Level
Glenn High School
- Gabrielle Thomas in the Girls 100 M, Long Jump & Triple Jump
- Chloe Coffee in the Girls High Jump
