February is designated as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month. Leander ISD is proud to offer career and technical education from elementary through high school to provide our students with authentic learning experiences through an academically rigorous and industry-aligned curriculum.
“Leander ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and real-world experiences they need to excel in any post-secondary path they choose,” said Jaime Everett, director of career development for LISD. “CTE Month is a time to celebrate the transformative opportunities CTE offers and to recognize the achievements of our students.”
Through hands-on training, industry partnerships, and innovative instruction, CTE empowers students to become future leaders, problem-solvers, and career-ready professionals, prepared to thrive in our constantly evolving world.
